Education:

    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management

Bachelor's/Master's degree in HRM, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations or a relevant discipline.

Professional HR qualifications/training will be an added advantage.

Strong hands-on experience in Factory HR, Industrial Relations, Administration and Compliance.

Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently with expatriates, buyers and international stakeholders.

Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to handle sensitive, complex and high-pressure situations independently.

High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and emotional maturity.

Strong decision-making ability with a practical and business-oriented approach.

Candidates having experience in large composite textile/apparel manufacturing projects will be given preference.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

A leading and well-established vertically integrated textile and apparel manufacturing organization is looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Leader to lead the overall Human Resources, Administration & Compliance functions of a large-scale integrated manufacturing project.

The project comprises Knitting, Knit Dyeing, Washing and Garments Manufacturing operations, with a workforce of approximately 7,500–8,000 employees, including both local and expatriate professionals.

This is a highly visible senior management position offering an excellent opportunity for an accomplished HR professional to lead a large workforce, manage complex industrial relations and work closely with top management and international stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall HR, Administration & Compliance functions of the project with strategic and operational ownership.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational growth.

  • Lead manpower planning, recruitment, retention, performance management, employee development and succession planning.

  • Manage HR operations for a large-scale workforce of approximately 7,500–8,000 employees.

  • Provide strong leadership in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations, including worker grievances, disciplinary matters, disputes and conflict resolution.

  • Ensure a healthy and productive relationship between management and employees/workers.

  • Lead statutory, labour and social compliance activities and ensure readiness for buyer/customer audits and inspections.

  • Oversee overall factory administration and ensure smooth administrative operations.

  • Handle sensitive and complex employee, labour and stakeholder-related matters with sound judgment and discretion.

  • Lead and coordinate visits by foreign buyers, clients, consultants and other international stakeholders.

  • Represent the organization professionally during meetings and interactions with expatriates and international visitors.

  • Effectively communicate and negotiate with diverse external stakeholders, including local community representatives and other relevant parties.

  • Handle sensitive local stakeholder issues, claims, requests, applications and demands with maturity, diplomacy and professionalism.

  • Work closely with senior management on organizational development, workforce strategy and critical people-related decisions.

  • Act as a trusted HR business partner to the top management and factory leadership.

  • Ensure strong HR governance, discipline, confidentiality and professional standards throughout the organization.
