Ventura Leatherware Mfy. (BD) Ltd, a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise located in Uttara EPZ, Nilphamari, is seeking a competent and people-oriented professional for the position of Officer – Employee Relations / Welfare. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting employee engagement, welfare, workplace relations, orientation, recognition, and employee-focused initiatives to promote a positive and productive work environment. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, problem-solving ability, and the capability to handle employee concerns professionally and confidentially.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate annual employee engagement surveys and support cross-functional teams in implementing identified improvement initiatives.
Implement, monitor, and report area-specific action plans to address employee engagement gaps and improve workplace experience.
Plan, coordinate, and track employee recognition and appreciation programs, including attendance appreciation, birthday wishes, and other engagement initiatives.
Coordinate Company Orientation and Functional Induction Programs for all new hires and ensure timely completion.
Receive, address, and resolve work-related concerns raised by Team Leaders, Group Leaders, Officers, and Team Members through appropriate coordination and follow-up.
Provide counseling and guidance to employees on punctuality, attendance, personal issues affecting work, workplace conduct, and performance-related concerns.
Conduct planned awareness programs on teamwork, workplace discipline, attendance, and managing personal issues affecting work.
Implement initiatives to reduce workplace indiscipline and ensure disciplinary actions are completed within the defined timeline and procedures.
Maintain records and provide regular reports on employee engagement, welfare initiatives, recognition programs, concerns, and action-plan progress.
Provide inputs and coordinate the implementation of identified automation and process improvement initiatives for Employee Relations and Welfare operations.
Salary review after successful completion of probationary period along with guaranteed allowance of BDT 4,000.
Insurance coverage for hospitalization (IPD) and outdoor patient visit (OPD) after confirmation.
Annual incentive on completion of calendar year.
