Responsibilities & Context:
Serve as a primary communication channel between workers and factory/corporate management to address concerns smoothly.
Listen to employee complaints, manage initial-stage disputes, and help resolve conflicts or disciplinary issues fairly.
Monitor hygiene, safety standards, and facilities like dining areas, canteens, medical centers, and child-care rooms.
Ensure company operations and worker benefits (such as maternity leave and working hours) comply with national labor laws and buyer codes of conduct.
Coordinate on boarding sessions, worker orientations, and regular awareness programs regarding safety, fire prevention, and legal rights.
Provide basic counseling to distressed or absent workers and promote a positive, inclusive work culture.
