Responsibilities & Context:
  • Execute end-to-end recruitment for both technical factory staff (machine operators, chrome plating technicians, quality inspectors, maintenance mechanics) and administrative personnel.

  • Manage daily manpower forecasting to ensure optimal staffing for day/night production shifts.

  • Partner with local labor vendors, technical institutes, and manpower agencies to build a reliable pipeline of skilled and semi-skilled workers.

  • Oversee fast-track onboarding, plant safety orientation, and shop-floor assimilation for new hires.

  • Supervise attendance tracking, shift scheduling, overtime (OT) validation, and leave management via biometric and HRIS systems (Kormee Software).

  • Ensure accurate processing of wage data, piece-rate wages, and incentive pay in coordination with the Finance and Payroll teams.

  • Monitor shift absenteeism, turnaround times, and turnover trends to implement corrective retention strategies.

  • Ensure strict adherence to national factory laws, labor acts, minimum wage legislation, working hours, and environmental health & safety (EHS) mandates.

  • Oversee compliance requirements specific to hazardous environments (e.g., chemical handling/ventilation protocols in chrome plating units).

  • Manage grievances, disciplinary inquiries, domestic hearings, and labor disputes on the shop floor in alignment with company standing orders.

  • Maintain factory registers, statutory licenses, return filings, and prepare documentation for government labor inspections and third-party audits.
