Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and execute an effective monthly and advance production plan in coordination with Marketing, Merchandising, Production, and Management.
∎ Monitor production capacity and ensure timely shipments through proactive follow-ups
∎ Oversee order status, conduct regular planning meetings, and allocate production lines effectively.
∎ Optimize capacity planning to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
∎ Continuously track production progress, identify bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions for smooth operations.
∎ Build strong relationships with Merchandising, Production (Store, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Washing), and other departments to ensure seamless workflow.
∎ Manage production planning staff and schedule raw materials to meet production timelines.
∎ Conduct time and motion studies to improve efficiency, set standard production rates, and streamline operations.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, assess operator skills, enforce floor discipline, and identify training needs for career development.
∎ Lead and oversee the Industrial Engineering (IE) department’s activities.
∎ Calculate cost-effective Standard Minute Value (SMV) for garment costing.
∎ Engage in sample development to ensure production-friendly designs.
∎ Set KPIs, monitor production team performance, and drive efficiency.
∎ Simplify manufacturing processes to maximize productivity.
∎ Implement smart methods, tools, and gadgets to reduce handling time and labor dependency.
∎ Ensure optimal resource utilization and minimize production delays.
∎ Oversee pre-production planning to ensure smooth back-to-back feeding without compromising quality.
∎ Train and motivate workers to achieve production targets efficiently.
∎ Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.
