Responsibilities & Context:
Fabric development from yarn/fabric selection to bulk
· Fabric construction, GSM, composition and yarn-count analysis
· Lab-dip/strike-off and fabric approval follow-up
· Shrinkage, spirality, pilling, colorfastness and other testing
· Fabric inspection and bulk-lot approval
· Fabric risk assessment before bulk production
· Troubleshooting fabric defects and root-cause analysis
· Coordination with knitting, dyeing, finishing, QA and merchandising
· Supplier/mill evaluation and technical follow-up
· Buyer requirement and testing-standard compliance
· Maintain fabric library, technical sheets and test records
