Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage the Technical Department.
Develop and approve yarn, knit, linking, washing and finishing processes.
Ensure sweater products meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
Review tech pack, measurement, construction and workmanship requirements.
Control GSM, gauge, shrinkage, shade, hand feel and dimensional stability.
Identify and resolve technical and production problems.
Approve samples, specifications and production standards.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Knitting, Linking, Washing, Finishing and Quality.
Guide and supervise technical team members.
Reduce rejection, rework and production loss.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and applicable standards.
Drive process improvement, productivity and cost reduction.
