Must have practical job experience.

Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, generators, transformers, HVAC, compressors, pumps, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial utilities.

Good understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and maintenance/utility management systems.

Willingness to work at factory locations and respond to emergency technical situations when required.

We are looking for a competent and experienced MEP Engineer to oversee the planning, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in our garment manufacturing facility. The incumbent will ensure reliable utility services, energy efficiency, workplace safety, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan, supervise, and maintain all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems of the factory.

2. Ensure uninterrupted operation and preventive maintenance of electrical distribution, generators, transformers, compressors, pumps, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other utility systems.

3. Prepare and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for MEP equipment and installations.

4. Monitor equipment performance, identify technical problems, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective actions.

5. Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of MEP equipment and systems.

6. Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives for energy efficiency and cost reduction.

7. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of fire-fighting, fire detection, emergency power, water supply, drainage, and other safety-related systems.

8. Ensure compliance with applicable BNBC, electrical safety, fire safety, environmental, statutory, and international buyer requirements.

9. Lead MEP improvement projects, including capacity expansion, equipment upgrades, utility optimization, and infrastructure development.

10. Ensure all MEP works are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
