Experience:
Must have proven experience leading Quality/QA function at a Head of Quality/GM/Sr. GM level in a large, multi-unit denim/woven composite RMG group.
Strong working knowledge of AQL sampling standards, buyer quality manuals (H&M, Walmart, Inditex, VF Corp, etc. — as applicable), and garment construction (knit and/or woven).
Hands-on experience in leading buyer/3rd party quality and social compliance audits (WRAP, BSCI, Sedex/SMETA, Higg Index) is preferred.
·Develop, implement, and continuously update the Group's Quality Management System (QMS) and quality policy in line with buyer requirements (AQL 2.5/1.5), ISO 9001, and relevant industry standards.
Lead and centrally manage the Quality Control/Quality Assurance function across all sister concerns/factories, ensuring uniform quality standards, KPIs, and reporting structure group-wide.
Take end-to-end ownership of quality across the full manufacturing chain — fabric/raw material inspection, cutting, sewing (inline/endline), finishing, and pre-final/final inspection (packing).
Liaise closely with Merchandising, Production, IE, Planning, and Compliance teams to resolve quality issues, reduce rejection/return rates, and meet on-time shipment with first-time-right quality.
Provide technical guidance to factory QA/QC teams on critical operations, quality checkpoints (CP1/CP2/CP3), and SOPs, and ensure teams are trained on buyer-specific quality manuals.
Review daily/weekly inline and endline inspection reports, garment measurement (fit) reports, and lead root-cause analysis with Production/IE for recurring defects.
Lead pre-final and final random inspections (AQL-based), and represent the factory during buyer/3rd-party audits (e.g., Intertek, Bureau Veritas, SGS, TÜV).
Participate in claim and CAP (Corrective Action Plan) meetings with buyers; prepare and submit CAPs with supporting evidence within buyer-defined timelines.
Analyze quality data (DHU%, defect rate, RFT%, return/claim ratio) to identify trends, set benchmarks, and define quality KPIs/targets for each factory.
Drive root-cause and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to reduce repeat defects and customer complaints.
Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and record-keeping for all quality-related audits, inspections, and buyer compliance requirements.
Build, mentor, and evaluate the Quality Control team across factories; conduct training programs to develop technical and inspection capability.
Coordinate with R&D/Sample and Merchandising during pre-production (PP meeting) to finalize quality standards before bulk production.
Prepare and present monthly/quarterly quality performance reports to top management.
