Minimum 8 years of experience in production planning within apparel sourcing or large-scale manufacturing environments.
Strong background in managing multiple vendors and handling high-capacity production orders.
Excellent communication, analytical, and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and production tracking tools.
A proactive, hands-on professional with strong attention to detail and a results-orientated mindset
Overall Production Planning Leadership: Lead and oversee the end-to-end production planning process in close collaboration with diverse manufacturing vendors and partner factories.
Line Loading & Capacity Utilisation: Prepare detailed, factory-wise line loading plans that maximise capacity utilisation and present balanced production schedules for management review.
Factory Capacity Management: Actively manage, evaluate, and optimise the available production capacity across all contracted factories.
Delay Forecasting & Merchant Communication: Proactively forecast potential order delays, analyse root causes, and notify internal merchandising teams in advance to mitigate delivery risks.
Process Flow Analysis & Solutions: Analyse factory-level production process flows, identify manufacturing challenges and bottlenecks, and propose effective, actionable solutions.
Cross-Factory Control & Tracking: Monitor, control, and execute capacity planning, order allocation, and live production tracking across multiple manufacturing facilities.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with merchandising, sourcing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless order execution and 100% on-time delivery (OTD).
Risk Identification & Corrective Actions: Identify operational production risks, material shortages, or line bottlenecks early, driving structured corrective action plans (CAP) with vendor leadership.
Vendor Performance & Lead Time Optimisation: Track and analyse vendor performance metrics, leading continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing efficiency and overall lead-time reduction.
Reporting & Critical Path Adherence: Maintain accurate, up-to-date production status reports and enforce strict adherence to delivery commitments, milestone schedules, and Time & Action (T&A) critical paths.
