Responsibilities & Context:
Inspect sweater production at different stages to ensure quality standards.
Check knitting, linking, trimming, mending and finishing quality.
Identify and report defects such as holes, stains, uneven stitches, yarn faults and measurement issues.
Conduct in-line and end-line inspections according to buyer requirements.
Ensure approved samples, specifications and quality standards are followed.
Monitor operators’ workmanship and provide immediate quality feedback.
Maintain QC inspection reports, defect records and quality checklists.
Coordinate with Production, QA and other departments to resolve quality issues.
Ensure defective garments are properly segregated and reworked/repaired.
Support final inspection and take corrective/preventive actions to reduce defects.
