Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing / Textile Technology or relevant discipline.
Candidates with relevant professional experience may also be considered.

Skills Required: AutoCAD,Embroidery Design,Knit Garments,Pattern making,Sample Development
Additional Requirements:
- Age At most 42 years
Strong knowledge of knit fabric construction, yarn, GSM, composition, shrinkage, color and finishing.
Good understanding of buyer requirements, quality standards and sample approval procedures.
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Good leadership and team-management capability.
Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Office.
Experience with international buyers and export-oriented garments is an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage the Fabric Sample Development team to ensure timely and accurate sample execution.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Quality and Production teams for sample development.
Develop and maintain fabric samples according to buyer requirements, specifications and approved standards.
Ensure proper fabric construction, GSM, composition, color, shrinkage, hand feel and other required parameters.
Follow up on fabric development, lab dips, strike-offs, test reports and approvals.
Analyze buyer tech packs, specifications and sample requirements and ensure proper execution.
Maintain sample development schedules and ensure timely submission to buyers/merchandising teams.
Identify technical issues during development and take necessary corrective actions.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of fabric samples and approvals.
Monitor sample quality and minimize rework, rejection and development delays.
Guide and develop team members and ensure effective coordination among relevant departments.
Handle buyer-specific requirements and support the merchandising team in achieving sample approval within the required timeline.
