Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preferably in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

8–12 years of relevant experience in knit garments, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/senior supervisory position.

Strong experience in 100% export-oriented knit garments factories is essential.

Experience working with reputed international buyers and brands will be an added advantage.

-Manage and supervise the complete finishing operation of knit garments from receiving garments from sewing through final packing.
- Ensure finishing, ironing, folding, tagging, poly packing, carton packing and shipment preparation are completed as per buyer requirements.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards and shipment deadlines are achieved.
- Coordinate closely with Sewing, Quality, Production Planning, Washing, IE, Merchandising and Commercial teams.
- Monitor line efficiency, manpower utilization and finishing productivity.
- Ensure proper garment measurement, appearance, workmanship and packing quality.
- Minimize rejection, rework, alteration and production losses through effective control.
- Implement buyer-specific finishing and packing requirements for export orders.
- Identify bottlenecks and take immediate corrective actions to maintain smooth production flow.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, discipline, safety and compliance within the finishing section.
- Prepare and review daily production and efficiency reports and submit them to management.
- Lead, motivate and develop finishing supervisors, quality personnel and workers.

Required Expertise

-Strong knowledge of knit garment finishing, ironing, folding, packing and shipment preparation.
- Excellent understanding of buyer-specific finishing and packing requirements.
- Strong knowledge of AQL, quality control, measurement and workmanship standards.
- Hands-on experience in production planning, manpower management and productivity improvement.
- Ability to control rework, rejection and finishing defects.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical shipment deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
