Context:

We are looking for a highly experienced, dynamic and result-oriented Head of Store to lead and manage the entire store & warehouse operations of our 100% export-oriented knit garments factory. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, timely material availability, proper warehouse control and compliance with buyers’ and international standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and control overall Store, Warehouse & Inventory Operations of the factory.

• Manage receiving, inspection, storage, issuance and dispatch of all raw materials, accessories, finished goods and other factory materials.

• Ensure 100% accuracy of stock records, bin cards, inventory reports and ERP/system data.

• Develop and implement effective FIFO/FEFO, batch-wise and lot-wise inventory control systems.

• Monitor stock levels, minimum/maximum inventory and ensure timely replenishment.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counting and reconciliation.

• Minimize inventory variance, wastage, damage, pilferage and obsolete stock.

• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Merchandising, Commercial, Procurement, Accounts and Quality departments.

• Ensure materials are available as per production plan and shipment requirements.

• Maintain proper documentation and traceability of all store transactions.

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, factory SOPs, internal policies and audit standards.

• Lead store audits and ensure proper preparation for buyer, social compliance and management audits.

• Develop and monitor store KPIs, productivity and operational efficiency.

• Lead, train and motivate the store team to maintain discipline and high operational standards.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly inventory/stock reports to management.

• Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
