Responsibilities & Context:
Plan and supervise daily sweater washing production.
Ensure approved washing recipe and buyer specifications are followed.
Control temperature, time, pH, water and chemical dosage.
Ensure proper shade, hand feel, shrinkage, measurement and appearance.
Minimize re-wash, rejection and production wastage.
Manage washing chemicals, PPE and safe chemical handling.
Supervise Washing Supervisors, Operators and Helpers.
Monitor washing machines and coordinate maintenance.
Maintain production, recipe and chemical consumption records.
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Knitting, Linking, Finishing and ETP.
Ensure washing safety, environmental and buyer compliance.
Monitor production efficiency and control washing costs.
