Skills Required: WASH program
Additional Requirements:
- Age At least 30 years
Experience in a buying house environment will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of garment washing processes and wash defects.
Strong understanding of Knit & Woven garment quality.
Knowledge of wash testing, shrinkage, colorfastness, and garment appearance.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel to washing factories when required.
Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct wash quality inspection for Knit and Woven garments as per buyer requirements and approved standards.
Check garment appearance, shade, hand feel, wash effect, shrinkage, colorfastness, and other wash-related quality parameters.
Coordinate with washing factories and production teams to ensure consistent wash quality.
Review and follow approved wash recipes, wash standards, and technical specifications.
Identify wash-related defects and take necessary corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct inline and final wash inspections and prepare inspection reports.
Follow up on wash development, testing, and approval of samples.
Communicate with washing factories regarding quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
Monitor compliance with buyer quality requirements and company standards.
Maintain proper records of inspection reports, wash approvals, test reports, and quality issues.
Visit washing factories when required for quality inspection and follow-up.
