Position Summary

Trimco (Bangladesh) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Product Development to join our Product Development team in Dhaka.

The position will be responsible for managing product development activities from customer requirements and concept/sample development through approval and production handover. The role will involve close coordination with customers, internal teams, designers, suppliers and production partners to ensure that products are developed according to required quality, cost, functionality, sustainability and delivery standards.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in garment accessories/trims, labels, packaging or related product development, strong follow-up skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple developments simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end product development from customer requirements to sample approval and production handover.

2. Develop trims, labels, tags, packaging and other garment brand-identification products.

3. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, merchandising, design and production teams.

4. Review artwork, specifications, materials, colors and technical requirements.

5. Follow up on sampling, customer feedback, approvals and development timelines.

6. Source suitable materials and suppliers while ensuring quality and cost competitiveness.

7. Support costing, quotation comparison and supplier negotiations.

8. Ensure developed products meet required quality, sustainability and customer standards.

9. Maintain accurate development records, specifications and status reports.

10. Identify new materials, technologies and innovative product solutions to support customer needs.
