Experience:
5–8 years of relevant experience in woven garment merchandising.
Experience working with international buyers and export-oriented garment factories will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of woven garment development, production, costing, and shipment processes.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
Strong follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good command of English communication and business correspondence.
Strong understanding of buyer requirements and garment manufacturing processes.
Job Context:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sr. Merchandiser – Woven to manage the complete merchandising process from order development to shipment. The position will be responsible for coordinating with buyers, suppliers, production, quality, design, sourcing, and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery of quality products in line with buyer requirements.
Handle buyer communication and manage assigned woven garment orders from development to shipment.
Analyze buyer tech packs, specifications, BOM, artwork, and other order-related documents.
Develop samples and coordinate with design, pattern, sample, and technical teams.
Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, and other raw material sourcing.
Prepare and follow up on T&A (Time and Action) plans to ensure on-time execution.
Coordinate with production, planning, quality, sourcing, and commercial teams.
Monitor fabric booking, lab dips, trims, approvals, PP samples, size sets, and other production requirements.
Ensure all buyer comments and approvals are properly communicated and implemented.
Monitor production progress and proactively identify potential delays or risks.
Follow up on quality requirements and ensure products meet buyer specifications.
Coordinate shipment planning and ensure timely submission of shipping-related documents.
Maintain proper order status, development records, costing information, and buyer correspondence.
Negotiate and follow up with suppliers when required to ensure competitive prices and timely delivery.
Resolve order-related issues through effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, company policies, and merchandising procedures.
Perform other responsibilities assigned by management.
