Job Context

Amtranet Group, a leading RMG manufacturer and exporter in Bangladesh, is seeking a qualified, proactive, and experienced ETP In-Charge to oversee the operation, maintenance, and compliance management of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring efficient wastewater treatment, regulatory compliance, environmental sustainability, and uninterrupted ETP operations in accordance with local regulations, buyer requirements, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).

• Monitor and control all stages of wastewater treatment processes.

• Supervise ETP operators and technicians and ensure proper manpower utilization.

• Ensure treated wastewater quality meets regulatory and buyer requirements.

• Monitor chemical dosing, sludge management, and treatment efficiency.

• Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of ETP equipment.

• Coordinate laboratory testing and analyze wastewater parameters.

• Maintain records of ETP operations, chemical consumption, test reports, and environmental data.

• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and buyer standards.

• Monitor water consumption and recommend water-saving initiatives.

• Coordinate environmental audits, inspections, and buyer assessments.

• Prepare and submit environmental reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ZDHC, Higg FEM, and other environmental standards where applicable.

• Manage ETP chemical inventory and ensure timely procurement of required materials.

• Conduct awareness training for relevant employees on environmental compliance and wastewater management.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
