Job Context
ACME Garments Unit is looking for an experienced Jacket Sourcing Merchandiser for its Central Sourcing & Procurement Department. The position will be responsible for Jacket/Outerwear sourcing, supplier development, costing, price negotiation, sampling, material sourcing, and order follow-up while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities
✓ Manage sourcing and merchandising activities for Jacket & Outerwear products.
✓ Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and other materials according to product and buyer requirements.
✓ Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
✓ Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure competitive sourcing.
✓ Handle costing, sampling, product development, and order follow-up.
✓ Coordinate with Marketing & Merchandising, Production, Quality, Commercial, and other relevant departments.
✓ Follow up on supplier capacity, lead time, quality, and delivery schedules.
✓ Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
✓ Monitor market trends, fabric developments, trims, and innovative sourcing solutions.
