12 years of experience in the Jacket / Outerwear manufacturing (Bomber Jacket, Down Jacket, Padded Jacket, Fake Down, Real Down, Seam Sealing, Fleece Jacket, Ski Jacket, Parka, Softshell Jacket, Leather Jacket, Puffer Jacket).
Proven track record of managing large-scale operations, multiple production lines, and workforce management.
UTAH Fashions Ltd., a renowned 100% export-oriented knit composite company in the country is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly capable professional for the position of Manager-Production (Jacket), located in Gazipur.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily jacket manufacturing operations to achieve line target efficiency, Quality Pass Rate & on-time shipment deadlines.
Analyze intricate jacket tech packs, critical operations & construction methods to ensure precise pattern matching & high-end technical accuracy.
Design optimized line layouts, operational sequences & SMV-based bottleneck solutions specifically tailored for woven & padded jackets.
Manage specialized machinery (e.g., auto-seamers, down-filling machines, seam-sealing units, heavy-duty stitching) to guarantee flawless technical execution.
Enforce AQL standards across sewing & finishing sections to eliminate inline defect rates, puckering & seam distortion.
Control waste, fabric consumption & operational SMVs while continuously striving for lean manufacturing & reduced garment SAM.
Direct technical execution of specialized processes including down/feather padding, quilting, bonded fabrics & seam tape application.
Lead Pre-Production (PP) meetings with IE & Quality teams to resolve potential bulk technical complications prior to line loading.
Monitor daily DHU metrics & implement immediate corrective action plans for technical rejections.
Work closely with Merchandising, Cutting, IE, Quality & Store teams to ensure seamless input flow and zero line stoppage.
Supervise heavy-garment finishing, steam ironing & pressing standards to maintain structural drape & aesthetic appeal.
Lead, train & motivate line supervisors & operators on complex jacket critical seam operations & technical skill building.
Enforce strict compliance, safety regulations & buyer code of conduct guidelines across all jacket production lines.
