Responsibilities & Context:
Job Responsibility -
Inspect purchased materials, garments, or products against quality standards.
Check specifications, measurements, workmanship, color, quantity, and packaging.
Conduct inspections at suppliers/factories before shipment.
Identify defects and prepare inspection reports.
Coordinate with suppliers and buying teams to resolve quality issues.
Follow up on corrective actions and ensure defects are properly resolved.
Maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
Ensure products meet buyer requirements, approved samples, and AQL standards.
Support final inspection and shipment approval.
Communicate quality issues to the merchandising/buying team.
