Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in fabric production.
Strong knowledge of fabric quality parameters (GSM, shrinkage, shade variation, defects).
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
Skilled in identifying defects, conducting root cause analysis, and preparing corrective action plans.
Lead and oversee all textile operations including knitting, dyeing, finishing, and quality control to ensure production targets are achieved efficiently.
Develop and implement strategic production plans aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and labor regulations across all textile units.
Monitor daily production performance, machine utilization, and manpower efficiency.
Coordinate with merchandising, planning, and procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely fabric delivery.
Review and approve departmental budgets, resource allocation, and cost optimization plans.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S implementation.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and technical partners to enhance product quality and innovation.
Mentor and develop departmental managers and supervisors to strengthen leadership and technical capabilities.
Prepare and present operational and performance reports to the Director and Managing Director.
Ensure sustainability goals are integrated into production processes, focusing on energy efficiency and waste reduction.
Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and ensure maximum machine uptime.
Evaluate new technologies and machinery for process improvement and productivity enhancement.
Ensure quality assurance systems are effectively implemented and maintained throughout production stages.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Collaborate with HR & Admin for manpower planning, training, and employee welfare initiatives.
Maintain discipline, safety, and compliance standards within all textile departments.
Represent the textile division in management meetings, audits, and external inspections.
Ensure effective communication and coordination among all departments under the textile division.
Promote innovation, sustainability, and continuous learning culture within the team.
