Experience:

• At least 8 years

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Business Studies (MBS)

CMA/CA partly qualified will be preferable; not mandatory.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP/accounting systems; financial reporting and analysis; banking and treasury operations; tax and VAT compliance; internal controls; audit coordination; good communication, leadership and team-management skills.

• Lead and oversee day-to-day Accounts Operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.

• Supervise GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, inter-company transactions and month-end/year-end closing.

• Review financial statements, management reports, MIS, cash-flow forecasts and budget variance analysis.

• Manage cash, working capital and optimum utilization of available funds.

• Ensure proper accounting controls, ERP records, reconciliations and supporting documentation.

• Oversee supplier payments and applicable Tax/VAT deductions and compliance.

• Coordinate with Tax/VAT, Internal Audit, Statutory Auditors and Head Office Finance & Accounts.

• Monitor inventory accounting, costing and cost-control initiatives.

• Lead, supervise and develop the Accounts team and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.

• Perform any other relevant responsibilities assigned by management.
