Responsibilities & Context:
Follow up on the product development process, including initial sample submission, pilot process, and pre-production activities.
Check and follow up on initial samples as per buyer requirements and approved specifications.
Assist in monitoring the pilot and pre-production processes and identify quality-related issues.
Have a basic understanding of pattern making and garment construction.
Conduct/support fabric inspection and report any quality issues.
Prepare and maintain Shade Band, Color Card, Shade Blanket, and Shrinkage Reports.
Check and maintain records related to fabric shade and shrinkage.
Have basic knowledge of the garment washing process and understand wash reports.
Read and understand Tech Packs, including measurements, construction details, and quality specifications.
Check garment samples against Tech Pack, approved sample, measurement, and construction requirements.
Coordinate with relevant departments regarding sample and quality-related issues.
Maintain proper records and documentation related to VQA activities.
Report any quality deviations or issues to the respective senior/team leader.
Follow company and buyer quality standards and procedures.
