Experience:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head of Quality to lead the overall quality function of our export-oriented garment manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in lingerie and intimate apparel quality, with comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, inline/end-line inspection, finishing, final inspection, AQL, defect prevention and customer quality requirements.
Candidates with hands-on experience in bonded lingerie, TPU bonding, dot glue, heat press, seamless and intimate apparel will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control function across the factory.
Establish and maintain robust quality systems from pre-production to shipment.
Ensure products meet customer specifications, approved samples, workmanship standards and applicable quality requirements.
Develop quality objectives, KPIs and improvement plans for all production areas.
Monitor and control DHU, RFT, first-pass yield, rejection, alteration and customer complaints.
Ensure effective inline, end-line, finishing and final inspection systems.
Lead root-cause analysis and implement effective CAPA for recurring quality issues.
Work closely with Production, Technical, IE, Planning, Merchandising and P&C teams to prevent quality issues at source.
Establish effective quality controls specifically for lingerie and intimate apparel manufacturing.
Ensure effective quality control of TPU bonding, dot glue, heat press, adhesive application, bonding strength, appearance and dimensional requirements where applicable.
Lead internal quality audits and support customer/buyer quality audits.
Monitor buyer complaints, analyze trends and ensure timely corrective actions.
Develop and strengthen the quality team through training, coaching and performance management.
Promote a strong “Right First Time” and quality-at-source culture throughout the organization.
Report quality performance, major risks, customer feedback and improvement actions to senior management.
