Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

Candidates with relevant professional qualifications in production or industrial management will be preferred.

• Strong experience in garment washing plant production operations is essential.

• Experience in handling washing, dyeing, finishing, and other garment processing operations.

• Candidates currently working in a senior production management position within a reputed export-oriented garment washing plant will be preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge of garment washing and finishing processes.

• Good understanding of production planning, capacity utilization, productivity, and process efficiency.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to effectively manage production teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.

• Strong knowledge of production KPIs, process improvement, and cost control.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production and delivery deadlines.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

1. Oversee day-to-day production operations of the washing plant to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.

2. Plan, organize, and monitor washing production activities in accordance with production plans and approved buyer requirements.

3. Ensure smooth execution of washing, dyeing, finishing, and other garment processing operations as per approved standards and specifications.

4. Coordinate with Planning, Merchandising, Quality Assurance, Technical, Laboratory, Maintenance, and other relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted production.

5. Monitor production capacity, machine utilization, productivity, and process efficiency and take corrective actions where required.

6. Ensure production processes are carried out according to approved wash recipes, process parameters, and technical requirements.

7. Monitor production progress against daily and monthly targets and ensure timely completion of orders.

8. Identify production bottlenecks, process inefficiencies, and operational issues and implement effective solutions.

9. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to minimize defects, reprocessing, rejection, and quality-related production losses.

10. Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, chemicals, water, energy, and other production resources.

11. Monitor rewash, reprocess, alteration, and rejection levels and take appropriate measures to reduce production losses.

12. Ensure proper coordination between bulk production and laboratory/sample development to achieve the required wash effects and consistency.

13. Maintain effective production reporting systems and provide regular updates on production performance, efficiency, capacity utilization, and major operational issues.

14. Support the implementation of production SOPs, process controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

15. Ensure proper housekeeping, workplace discipline, and compliance with applicable safety and operational requirements within the production areas.

16. Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure timely resolution of machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

17. Develop and strengthen the production team through effective supervision, coaching, training, and performance monitoring.

18. Monitor manpower requirements and ensure optimum deployment of personnel across production processes.

19. Analyze production data and KPIs to identify opportunities for improving productivity, efficiency, cost control, and process stability.

20. Participate in management reviews and provide recommendations regarding production capacity, process improvement, machinery requirements, and operational performance.

21. Ensure production activities are aligned with customer requirements, company policies, and business objectives.
