Job Context

Amtranet Group, a leading RMG manufacturer and exporter in Bangladesh, is seeking a qualified and proactive Maintenance Engineer -Mechanical to oversee mechanical maintenance operations and ensure uninterrupted production support. The incumbent will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of factory machinery, utilities, and equipment, while also coordinating and monitoring all maintenance-related requirements concerning workplace safety, building integrity, fire safety, and remediation activities under Accord/Nirapon and Nirapon compliance standards.

Responsibilities

01.

Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of all mechanical machinery and equipment.

02.

Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

03.

Monitor production machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

04.

Supervise maintenance technicians and ensure efficient use of manpower and resources.

05.

Maintain utility systems, including compressors, generators, boilers, pumps, HVAC systems, and other facility equipment.

06.

Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of all maintenance activities.

07.

Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.

08.

Coordinate spare parts management and maintain proper inventory records.

09.

Analyze machinery breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

10.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.

11.

Monitor and follow up on RSC/Accord, Nirapon, and regulatory remediation issues related to mechanical and facility systems.

12.

Coordinate with Compliance, EHS, and Engineering teams to address findings, CAPs (Corrective Action Plans), and audit requirements.

13.

Ensure timely completion of remediation works related to building safety, fire protection systems, and workplace safety standards.

14.

Maintain all maintenance records, compliance documentation, equipment history, and audit reports.

15.

Participate in factory inspections, compliance audits, buyer visits, and regulatory assessments.

16.

Provide technical recommendations for machinery upgrades, energy-saving initiatives, and process improvements.

17.

Prepare periodic maintenance and compliance reports for management.

18.

Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Additional Requirements

a)

Age: 30-40 years

b)

Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and maintenance practices.

c)

Good understanding of garment manufacturing machinery and utility operations.

d)

Sound knowledge of Accord, Nirapon, RSC, Fire Safety, Building Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety standards.

e)

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

f)

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.

g)

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

h)

Good command of written and spoken English.

i)

Proficiency in MS Office applications.
