• Age 22 to 45 years

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written).

• Good command of Bengali and/or English.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.

• Translate documents, contracts, specifications, and communication between Japanese and Bengali/English accurately.

• Interpret during meetings, negotiations, supplier visits, and conference calls.

• Assist in sourcing, procurement, and quality inspection activities by providing language support.

• Facilitate clear communication between Japanese suppliers and the local team to ensure understanding of technical details and quality standards.

• Support vendor evaluation and development processes through effective translation and interpretation.

• Prepare and review translation of technical documents, manuals, and product specifications.

• Coordinate with the buying, quality control, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate communication.

• Maintain good relationships with Japanese partners and ensure cultural nuances are respected.

• Keep updated with industry terminology and trends relevant to garments and buying sectors.

• Perform any other language-related tasks as required to support the company's operations.
