Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise daily operations of the sewing thread and yarn section, including receiving, storing, and issuing.
Follow-up yarn dyeing and including receiving, storing, and issuing.
Maintain accurate inventory records (lot, shade, count, supplier details).
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and segregation of threads and yarns by color, size, and type.
Monitor thread and yarn usage in production to minimize wastage and ensure cost efficiency.
Coordinate with procurement and store teams for timely availability of required threads and yarns.
Conduct shade matching and quality checks before issuance to production lines.
Record dyeing yarn issue and received transactions accurately in stock registers/ERP.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on thread and yarn stock, consumption, and shortages.
Train and guide workers in handling, storage, and usage of threads and yarns.
Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation in the thread/yarn section.
