Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising, Textile, Fashion, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Must have a standard typing speed with a high level of accuracy.
Candidates with strong factory coordination, production follow-up, and communication skills will be preferred.

Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Basic understanding of apparel manufacturing, merchandising, production, quality, testing, and shipment processes.
Strong follow-up, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple orders and meet strict deadlines.

Jordache, an international apparel retailer/buyer, is seeking energetic, responsible, and career-oriented individuals to join our Bangladesh Liaison Office for the positions.
Responsibilities:
Work as a buyer/retailer-side Assistant Merchandiser and closely coordinate with factory merchandising and production teams.
Follow up assigned orders from order confirmation through final shipment to ensure on-time delivery without any major issues.
Closely monitor order status, T&A, sample development, approvals, fabric/trims, testing, production, inspection, packing, and shipment.
Follow up with factory merchandisers and production teams on daily/weekly order progress.
Ensure buyer comments, approvals, specifications, and requirements are properly communicated and implemented by factories.
Coordinate with QA, Technical, Compliance, Testing, and other internal teams to resolve order-related issues.
Identify potential production delays, quality issues, testing failures, or shipment risks and take timely follow-up action.
Escalate critical issues and potential shipment delays to management promptly.
Maintain accurate order status, sample status, production, inspection, testing, and shipment tracking reports.
Review factory updates and ensure all required actions are completed within the agreed timeline.
Maintain proper records and documentation for assigned orders.
Perform other merchandising/order follow-up duties assigned by management.
