The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Sweaters.
1. Production Planning & Target Execution
Plan, schedule, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly finishing production targets according to buyer delivery schedules.
Coordinate with the knitting and linking departments to ensure a smooth flow of work in process (WIP) into the finishing section.
Allocate workforce and machines efficiently to maximize output and minimize bottlenecking.
2. Finishing Process Management
Oversee all core sweater finishing operations, including:
Washing & Drying: Ensuring correct chemical usage, handle/feel, and color fastness.
Pressing & Ironing: Maintaining correct measurements, specs, and shape setting (steam pressing).
Mending & Trimming: Inspecting and fixing yarn faults, loose threads, or defects.
Labeling, Folding & Packing: Ensuring accurate brand labels, care labels, price tags, and poly/carton packing per buyer manuals.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Maintain strict quality standards to achieve AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) targets set by buyers.
Implement inline, end-line, and final audit checks to reduce re-work, defects, and rejections.
Ensure factory compliance, safety guidelines, and ergonomic standards are followed within the finishing floor.
4. Measurement & Specification Control
Verify sweater measurements before and after washing/pressing to prevent shrinkage or sizing issues.
Ensure shade matching, trim accuracy, and consistent garment appearance across all size sets.
5. Resource & Cost Optimization
Control operational costs by minimizing thread wastage, polybag damage, and chemical overconsumption.
Monitor machine efficiency, steam consumption, and finishing equipment maintenance to reduce downtime.
6. Team Leadership & Labor Management
Lead, train, and motivate finishing supervisors, floor in-charges, iron operators, and packing workers.
Monitor daily worker attendance, floor discipline, line efficiency, and overtime management.
7. Cross-Departmental Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with Quality (QA/QC), Merchandising, Store, and Commercial teams for timely buyer inspections and shipments.
Prepare and submit daily production, defect analysis, WIP, and packing status reports to top management.
