Experience:

• 8 to 12 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a relevant discipline.
• Additional professional training/certification in QMS, Quality Management, Lean, Six Sigma, or relevant quality systems will be an advantage.

• Age At least 28 years

• Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Quality Management/QMS in a reputed export-oriented knit/woven garments manufacturing organization.
• Candidates with strong experience in Walmart and NEXT buyer handling will be given preference.
• Proven experience in buyer audits, quality systems, CAPA, root cause analysis, quality improvement, and factory quality management is essential.
• Experience working with international buyers and buying houses will be highly preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong practical knowledge of Garments QMS and international buyer quality requirements.
• Excellent understanding of Walmart and NEXT quality standards/procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, PDCA, and continuous improvement tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Office/Excel and quality reporting systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with buyers, auditors, management, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead a quality team and drive measurable improvement in factory quality performance.

We are looking for a highly experienced, proactive, and result-oriented professional to join our team as Manager / Assistant Manager – QMS, with strong expertise in handling international buyers, particularly Walmart and NEXT.

Job Responsibilities

• Only candidates with relevant experience in international buyer handling, particularly Walmart and NEXT, are encouraged to apply.
• Lead and manage the overall Quality Management System (QMS) of the factory in line with international buyer requirements and company standards.
• Act as a key focal person for Walmart and NEXT buyer-related quality requirements, audits, inspections, CAPA, and compliance follow-up.
• Coordinate with Buyer, Buying House, QA/QC, Production, IE, Merchandising, Compliance, and other relevant departments to ensure consistent quality performance.
• Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of QMS procedures, SOPs, quality standards, and control systems.
• Review buyer quality manuals, protocols, specifications, inspection requirements, and communicate relevant requirements to concerned departments.
• Handle and coordinate buyer audits, quality audits, factory assessments, technical visits, and follow-up actions.
• Analyze quality performance, defect trends, customer complaints, inspection reports, and root causes, and ensure effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Monitor quality KPIs, identify recurring quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper implementation of inline, end-line, finishing, and final inspection systems.
• Work closely with production teams to minimize defects, rework, rejection, alteration, and customer complaints.
• Conduct regular QMS review meetings and prepare management reports on quality performance and improvement plans.
• Develop and maintain necessary QMS documentation, records, procedures, checklists, reports, and audit-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international quality standards and buyer-specific requirements.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to QA/QC personnel and production teams on quality systems and buyer expectations.
• Support management in establishing a strong quality culture and continuous improvement environment across the factory.
• Take immediate and effective action on critical quality issues and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management
