• Strong understanding of IE, SMV, line balancing, capacity planning and efficiency improvement.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production and shipment deadlines.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and production-related reporting systems.

• Ability to lead a large production team and manage multiple production lines.

• Strong understanding of buyer quality requirements and export-oriented factory operations.

Texpro Eco Apparel Ltd. is a 100% export-oriented woven workwear and outerwear manufacturing company. We are looking for a highly experienced, result-oriented and dynamic professional to lead our Production Department as Head of Production.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production operations, achieving production targets, improving productivity and efficiency, maintaining quality standards, optimizing manpower and machine utilization, controlling production costs and ensuring on-time shipment through effective coordination with all concerned departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall production operations of the factory and ensure achievement of daily, weekly and monthly production targets.

• Develop production plans in coordination with Planning, Merchandising, IE, Quality and other relevant departments.

• Ensure effective line balancing, capacity utilization and manpower deployment for optimum production output.

• Monitor and continuously improve production efficiency, productivity and line performance.

• Ensure achievement of production targets without compromising quality, compliance and delivery requirements.

• Analyze production performance and take timely corrective actions for any shortfall, bottleneck or operational deviation.

• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, materials and other production resources.

• Work closely with IE Department to improve SMV, efficiency, manpower productivity, line balancing and production capacity.

• Coordinate with Quality Department to ensure RFT (Right First Time) and minimize defects, rework and rejection.

• Monitor production bottlenecks and ensure effective problem-solving through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Ensure production is carried out according to approved samples, specifications, quality standards and buyer requirements.

• Monitor WIP, production flow and process-wise output to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Take necessary initiatives to minimize wastage, rework, downtime and production losses.

• Ensure effective machine utilization and coordinate with Maintenance/Technical teams to minimize machine breakdown and downtime.

• Monitor absenteeism, manpower turnover and workforce productivity and take necessary actions in coordination with HR & Admin.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, production procedures, safety requirements and buyer standards.

• Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly production performance reports and present key findings to management.

• Establish a performance-driven production culture with clear accountability at every level.

• Lead and develop Production Managers, Line Supervisors and other production personnel.

• Identify operational risks and implement preventive measures to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Participate in management review meetings and provide data-driven recommendations for improving factory performance.

• Ensure on-time production and shipment through proactive planning, monitoring and cross-functional coordination.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality and cost competitiveness.
