Responsibilities & Context:
· To pay attention to various facilities for the welfare of the workers such as: canteen, rest room, children`s center, provision of adequate toilets and washrooms, drinking water etc.
· To strive to improve the quality of work and living conditions of the workers and to make recommendations to the appropriate authorities regarding their welfare.
· If there are any individual or collective grievances of the workers, they should be brought to the attention of the authorities for their prompt disposal.
· If there is a difference of opinion between the employer and the labor side, taking the initiative for compromise.
