Education:
• B.Sc. in Textile from any Public or Private University.
• Masters in any discipline from DU, JU, North South, BRAC or any reputed Public University is also highly encouraged.

Responsibilities & Context:
1. Plan product ranges and stock plans in conjunction with buyers
2. Make liaison with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors
3. Coordinate & communicate with other departments for various inter department activities.
4. Monitor activities from sampling, development to shipment stage.
5. Forecast profits and sales using computer programs
6. Optimize the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas
7. Analyze every aspect of the best and worst sellers (for example, the best-selling price points, colors or styles)
8. Gather information relating to the customer reaction to products
9. Responsible for accompanying buyers on visits to manufacturers to appreciate production processes
10. Meet with suppliers and manage the distribution of stock, possibly negotiating cost prices with suppliers
11. Identify production and supply difficulties and deal with them as and when they occur
12. manage, train, supervise and discipline staff
13. Ensure work place safety & compliance is met.
14. Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned

Earn Leave Encashment
Starting salary BDT 25,000 only per month.
After successful completion of 6 months’ probation period the incumbent will be promoted as “Assistant Merchandiser” with raised salary of BDT. 30,000 per month.
