Experience:
Post Graduate from a reputed public university.
Post Graduate Diploma in HRM (PGD-HRM) mandatory.
Minimum 15 years of proven experience in RMG and Composite Textile Mills; candidates with a strong compliance and sustainability background will get priority.
Sound knowledge and practical experience in global compliance standards, certifications, and sustainable industry practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent ability to manage people, resolve conflicts, and handle buyer audits.
Proficiency in security management, administrative controls, and operational efficiency.
Willingness to stay inside the mill compound as part of the management team.
Silver Composite Textile Mills Ltd., a leading name in the textile and RMG sector, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional for the role of Assistant General Manager (AGM) – HR, Administration & Compliance (Unit-3, Textile). The selected candidate will report to and assist the General Manager – HR, Administration & Compliance in ensuring smooth operations, robust compliance, and people-centered workplace practices across the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the GM in managing HR, Administration, and Compliance functions with accountability for policy implementation, workforce planning, and strategic people development.
Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and adherence to international standards and certifications including NIRAPON, RSC, ILO Better Work, USGBC LEED, ISO, GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS, SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP and other certifications.
Lead initiatives in sustainability practices, SDG alignment, and Roadmap to Zero discharge.
Oversee employee engagement programs, grievance handling, industrial relations, training & development.
Manage security, space utilization, housekeeping, and support services within the mill compound.
Maintain effective communication and correspondence with internal departments, external stakeholders, and buyers.
Act as a strategic partner to management by providing inputs in policy formulation, risk management, and organizational development.
Ensure a culture of discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement across HR and compliance functions.
