Responsibilities & Context:
Context: The Welfare Officer is responsible for providing welfare support to workers in the factory. This includes counseling on various issues such as company policies, discipline, health and safety, and employee motivation. The role also involves ensuring that welfare programs are effectively implemented and employees are informed about their rights and benefits.
Job Responsibilities
Counsel the workers on the following issues: Company rules, regulations, and policies
To counsel workers on disciplinary issues
To counsel workers on safety health & hygiene issues
To make them aware of productivity consciousness
Absent counseling and handling of employee motivation, mentoring, relation, and discipline.
Ensure childcare facilities & caring for pregnant workers in the maternal period.
Ensure employee participation in games & sports and social & cultural events.
Guide the employees about due leave, incentives, and any other legal benefits as applicable by law
Managing different types of committees
