Experience:
Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Additional qualifications in Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, Compliance, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or Sustainability will be considered an advantage.
Social Compliance, Sustainability, Audit Management, Worker Welfare, Industrial Relations, EHS Compliance, Documentation Management.
Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law and Labor Rules.
Experience in handling buyer audits and compliance assessments.
Good understanding of SMETA, BSCI, SLCP, Higg FEM, ISO Code and related compliance standards.
Excellent communication skills in Bangla & English (both oral and written).
Strong report writing, presentation, and analytical skills.
Computer literacy is a must, especially MS Office applications.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Positive attitude, leadership capability, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Labor Rules, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and prepare the factory for buyer audits, third-party audits, certification audits, and customer visits.
Conduct regular internal compliance audits and inspections to identify gaps and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor and maintain compliance documentation, policies, procedures, licenses, permits, and records.
Follow up on corrective action plans (CAPs) arising from audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
Coordinate worker-management communication programs, grievance mechanisms, and worker welfare initiatives.
Ensure compliance with buyer Codes of Conduct and customer-specific requirements.
Conduct training and awareness programs on social compliance, labor rights, workplace ethics, anti-harassment, and company policies.
Support environmental, health & safety, and sustainability compliance initiatives as required.
Prepare compliance-related reports, presentations, and data analysis for management review.
Liaise with auditors, customers, and relevant stakeholders regarding compliance matters.
Support implementation and maintenance of compliance programs including SMETA, BSCI, SLCP, Higg FEM, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
Assist management in developing and implementing continuous improvement plans to enhance compliance performance.
Perform any other assignments as assigned by the superior(s).
