Responsibilities & Context:
Process monthly payroll for workers and staff accurately and on time, ensuring proper calculation of overtime, bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
Prepare monthly salary statements and maintain payroll records while resolving payroll-related discrepancies.
Manage gratuity, provident fund, employee benefits, staff advances, and final settlement of separated employees.
Record, maintain, and monitor attendance, leave, holiday records, and employee punctuality through HRIS and payroll software.
Assist in manpower planning and recruitment activities to ensure timely filling of vacancies.
Screen CVs, coordinate interviews, conduct onboarding and orientation programs, and maintain updated personal files and HR databases.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution while maintaining positive employee relations.
Conduct safety, compliance, company policy, and orientation training programs for employees.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Factories Act, and other statutory requirements by maintaining all relevant records and coordinating with government officials, labor inspectors, and auditors.
Assist in developing and updating job descriptions, organization structures, HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Manage administrative activities including attendance, employee schedules, leave records, building maintenance, housekeeping, and security arrangements.
Maintain regular communication with local administration and monitor the smooth functioning of all factory sections.
Prepare reports and perform any other duties assigned by the management.
