Experience:
Bachelor's degree (Accounting, HRM, Management or related field).
2–4 years of payroll experience, preferably in an RMG / manufacturing environment.
Sound knowledge of the Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 (wage, overtime and benefit provisions)
Proficiency in payroll software and strong MS Excel skills
Accuracy, confidentiality and the ability to meet strict monthly deadlines
he Payroll Executive will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for the factory workforce, ensuring attendance, overtime and statutory calculations are fully compliant with the Bangladesh Labour Act and buyer requirements.
Responsibilities & Context:
Process monthly payroll for workers, staff and management within deadlines.
Reconcile attendance and overtime from with biometric / attendance system before salary processing.
Calculate overtime, leave, holiday and piece-rate components as per the Labor Act & company policy.
Apply statutory deductions and AIT on salary, and maintain accurate salary records.
Process festival bonuses, increments, arrears and final settlements.
Maintain and operate the payroll / HRIS software (PiHR, BDPayroll or equivalent).
Prepare payroll summaries, bank disbursement sheets and reports for management.
Support internal and buyer / compliance audits with payroll documentation.
Collaboration with accounts payment requisition of salary & rechecking.
