Experience:
MBA in Human Resources Management or master’s degree in management
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law and employment practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability.
High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
Good analytical, reporting and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR-related software/HRIS.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple establishments or business units.
1. HR Management for Factory Operations:
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
Lead manpower planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee retention.
Manage performance appraisal, promotion, transfer, and disciplinary processes.
Develop training and employee development programs.
Monitor attendance, leave, payroll inputs, benefits, and employee records.
Establish effective employee engagement and grievance-management systems
2. Administrative Oversight of Factory Premises:
Oversee general administration, office/factory facilities, security, transport, canteen, housekeeping, and employee welfare.
Ensure a safe, disciplined, and productive working environment.
Manage administrative budgets and control operational costs.
Coordinate with management and other departments on administrative requirements.
3. Compliance Management for Factory Operations:
Ensure the factory complies with all labor laws, safety regulations, and international compliance standards (e.g., BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX).
Conduct regular internal audits of factory processes to identify and address compliance gaps.
Liaise with external auditors, buyers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance readiness.
Develop and implement safety programs to minimise workplace injuries and hazards.
4. Security and Discipline (Factory Premises):
Leverage military experience to maintain high standards of discipline and security across the factory premises.
Implement effective access control measures and monitor factory premises for safety and security risks.
Train and supervise security personnel to handle emergencies, including theft, fire, and unrest.
Address and mitigate worker unrest or dispute risks in collaboration with HR and legal teams.
5. Strategic Leadership in Factory Operations:
Work closely with factory management to align HR, admin, and compliance functions with production goals.
Use factory performance data to make informed decisions regarding resource allocation and workforce planning.
Act as a bridge between senior management and the factory-level workforce to maintain open communication.
