Experience:
For retired Armed Forces officers, military experience, leadership track record, and rank will be highly prioritized over educational background.
Must have practical experience serving as a Major / Lieutenant Colonel / Colonel (or equivalent) in the Bangladesh Armed Forces (Army / Navy / Air Force).
8 to 13 years of post-retirement corporate experience in Administration, Security, or Operations departments in a reputed organization will be considered an added advantage.
Strong functional knowledge of modern security systems, fire safety protocols, MS Office (Word, Excel), and basic ERP software operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills in both English and Bengali, with the ability to make rapid decisions under pressure.
Job Context:
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and highly skilled Head of Admin to ensure the overall administrative operations, security management, logistics, and operational discipline of our organization. Retired high-ranking officers of the Bangladesh Armed Forces (Major / Lieutenant Colonel / Colonel or equivalent) will be given strict preference for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administration & Operations:
Lead the overall administrative functions and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all corporate offices, branches, and sites.
Establish, implement, and maintain administrative Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and organizational discipline.
Ensure proper management of utility services (electricity, water), cleaning, and other facility support services.
Supervise office renovation, repairs, and infrastructure maintenance projects.
Submit regular administrative reports, budgets, and expenditure updates to the top management.
2. Security & Crisis Management:
Take overall responsibility for the organization's security (offices, factories, warehouses) and supervise third-party security service providers.
Manage and monitor CCTV systems, access control, fire safety equipment, and visitor management protocols.
Conduct regular security threat and risk assessments and maintain robust emergency contingency plans.
Lead organizational operations and act as the primary commander during crises, accidents, or natural disasters.
3. Discipline & Workforce Management:
Enforce strict discipline, punctuality, and a professional work environment across the organization.
Monitor, guide, and evaluate the performance of support staff, security personnel, drivers, and other administrative employees.
Handle administrative disciplinary actions and grievance management in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
4. Transport & Fleet Management:
Supervise the company’s entire vehicle fleet and transport operations.
Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, track fuel consumption, optimize logistics routes, and ensure driver safety protocols are strictly followed.
5. Government Liaison & Protocol:
Maintain professional and effective relationships with relevant government authorities, law enforcement agencies, and local civil administration.
Ensure flawless security, logistics, and protocol arrangements during visits by VIPs, government officials, and key corporate guests.
Update, maintain, and renew necessary operational licenses, permits, and legal documentation.
