Pharmacy Salesman Job Responsibilities

1. Customer Service

   • Greet customers politely and assist them in finding medicines and healthcare products.

   • Answer basic questions about products and direct customers to the pharmacist when necessary.

2. Medicine Dispensing Support

   • Receive prescriptions and forward them to the pharmacist for verification.

   • Assist in preparing and packaging medicines as instructed by the pharmacist.

3. Sales and Billing

   • Process sales transactions accurately.

   • Prepare bills, receive payments, and issue receipts.

4. Inventory Management

   • Check stock levels regularly.

   • Arrange medicines and products on shelves properly.

   • Monitor expiry dates and remove expired or damaged products.

5. Store Maintenance

   • Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and presentable.

   • Ensure products are displayed correctly and safely.

6. Record Keeping

   • Maintain sales records and inventory records.

   • Assist in stock-taking and reporting shortages.

7. Compliance

   • Follow pharmacy policies and legal requirements.

   • Do not dispense prescription medicines without authorization from a licensed pharmacist.

8. Product Knowledge

   • Maintain knowledge of medicines, medical devices, and healthcare products available in the pharmacy.

   • Inform customers about product availability and pricing.

• Accuracy in handling sales and inventory.

• Ability to work in a team.
