Pharmacy Salesman Responsibilities

1. Customer Service

   • Greet customers professionally and assist them in finding medicines and healthcare products.

   • Answer basic product-related questions and guide customers appropriately.

2. Medicine Dispensing Support

   • Provide medicines according to prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

   • Ensure the correct medicine, strength, and quantity are supplied.

3. Inventory Management

   • Check stock levels regularly.

   • Arrange medicines and products neatly on shelves.

   • Monitor expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items.

4. Sales and Billing

   • Process sales transactions accurately.

   • Prepare invoices and collect payments.

   • Maintain daily sales records.

5. Store Maintenance

   • Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and hygienic.

   • Ensure medicines are stored according to manufacturer requirements.

6. Receiving Supplies

   • Receive medicine deliveries from suppliers.

   • Verify quantities and product details against invoices.

7. Customer Records

   • Maintain prescription and customer records as required by company policy and regulations.

8. Compliance and Safety

   • Follow pharmacy regulations and company policies.

   • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.

9. Product Knowledge

   • Stay updated on medicines, medical devices, and healthcare products available in the pharmacy.

10. Team Coordination

    • Work closely with pharmacists and other staff to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.

Required Skills

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Basic knowledge of medicines and healthcare products.

• Accuracy in handling prescriptions and billing.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Computer and POS (Point of Sale) operation skills.
