Additional Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of experience in Quality Control within a reputed knit garments manufacturing company.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior managerial leadership role (GM/AGM/Head of Quality).

  • Knit Garments Quality Management.

  • AQL & Final Inspection.

  • Root Cause Analysis & CAPA Buyer Quality Standards.

  • Inline & End-line Quality Control

  • Process Improvement & Lean Quality

  • Team Leadership & People Management.

  • Quality Audits & Compliance.

  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Provide strategic leadership for the complete Quality and Technical function.

  • Develop and implement a best-in-class quality management framework across the factory.

  • Establish robust quality assurance systems from product development through final shipment.

  • Lead supplier quality management, technical audits and process improvement initiatives.

  • Drive Right First Time (RFT), defect reduction and continuous improvement programmes.

  • Build preventive quality systems using RCA, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Ensure compliance with customer quality manuals, product safety requirements and international standards.

  • Lead quality performance reviews with global customers and senior management.

  • Strengthen vendor capability through technical training, quality benchmarking and performance improvement.

  • Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, Production, Compliance and Supply Chain teams to achieve quality and delivery objectives.

  • Resolve critical customer quality issues through structured corrective and preventive actions.

  • Develop quality dashboards, KPIs, MIS reports and executive presentations.

  • Recruit, mentor and develop high-performing technical and quality teams across multiple locations.

  • Hands-on expertise in AQL, factory evaluations, quality audits, technical standards and supplier development.

  • Strong understanding of international compliance, product safety and quality management systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage multiple suppliers and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across manufacturing locations.
