Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, Law, or a relevant discipline.
Professional HR/Compliance certifications will be considered an advantage.
Candidates with experience in a group of companies, corporate environment, manufacturing, garments/textile, retail, or related industries will be preferred.
Strong practical knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law and statutory compliance is essential.
Proven experience in handling HR audits, compliance audits, employee relations, and disciplinary matters.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Excellent knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of Bangladesh Labour Law and Rules.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong report-writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS/HR-related software.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability.
Lead and manage overall HR operations, including recruitment, manpower planning, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and separation.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, systems, and processes aligned with organizational objectives.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Laws, Rules, statutory requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
Lead internal and external compliance audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective action plans.
Maintain proper HR, employee, statutory, and compliance documentation and records.
Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, show-cause notices, investigations, and other employee-related issues.
Ensure proper implementation of company policies, code of conduct, workplace discipline, and ethical standards.
Coordinate with management and relevant departments regarding manpower requirements, organizational restructuring, and HR-related business decisions.
Supervise payroll, attendance, leave, benefits, compensation, and other HR processes in coordination with the concerned departments.
Develop training and development initiatives based on organizational and employee requirements.
Monitor HR KPIs, prepare management reports, and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, welfare, and other applicable standards.
Liaise with government authorities, auditors, consultants, and other external stakeholders when required.
Lead and develop the HR & Compliance team to ensure effective service delivery.
Identify HR and compliance risks and take proactive measures to minimize organizational exposure.
Perform any other HR, administrative, and compliance-related responsibilities assigned by management.
