Work Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10–12 years of experience in HR & Compliance functions.

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role within the RMG, textile, or manufacturing sector.

  • Hands-on experience in handling buyer audits, compliance management, industrial relations, and labor law compliance.

Competency Required

  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law and Labour Rules.

  • Expertise in social compliance standards and buyer requirements.

  • Leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making capability.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to handle audits and compliance assessments independently.



Responsibilities & Context:

Department: Human Resources
Work Station: Aptech Industrial Park, Gazipur.
Report To (Position): Senior General Manager- HR & Compliance
Key Tasks or Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all HR and Compliance functions of the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Act, Labour Rules, and buyer code of conduct requirements.

  • Monitor social compliance, health & safety, environmental compliance, and legal requirements.

  • Coordinate and manage compliance audits conducted by buyers, third parties, and government agencies.

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

  • Supervise recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of personnel files, statutory records, and compliance documentation.

  • Manage grievance handling, employee engagement, and workplace harmony initiatives.

  • Coordinate training programs related to HR, compliance, labor law, and workplace safety.

  • Prepare HR and compliance reports for management and buyers.

  • Liaise with government authorities, BGMEA and other regulatory bodies as required.

  • Lead compliance improvement projects and corrective action plans (CAP).
