Responsibilities & Context:
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable labor laws, factory regulations, and environmental standards.

  • Maintain up-to-date records as required by law (e.g., attendance, wages, working hours, maternity benefits, etc.).

  • Prepare for and support social, technical, and buyer audits (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, etc.).

  • Follow up on audit CAPs (Corrective Action Plans) and ensure the timely closure of all non-compliance findings.

  • Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Labor Office, DIFE, Fire Service & Civil Defence) to obtain and renew required licenses and approvals.

  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning.

  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and disciplinary documentation.

  • Conduct employee orientation, awareness training, and regular compliance sessions for workers and staff.

  • Support performance appraisal and succession planning processes.

  • Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues promptly and fairly.

  • Monitor the workplace environment and promote positive employee engagement initiatives.

  • Supervise employee welfare activities, including canteen, transport, medical, and dormitory facilities.

  • Support the implementation of fire safety, first aid, and emergency preparedness training programs.

  • Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

  • Monitor the proper functioning of safety equipment and maintain relevant inspection and maintenance records.

  • Maintain HR and Compliance documentation and prepare regular reports for management and buyers.
