Education:
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
•      PGD in HRM or relevant professional certification will be considered an added advantage.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 45 years
  • Only Male
  • Minimum height 6 Feet.

  •   Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law, 2006 (amended) and related rules.

  • Proven experience handling Factory, Jetty, Fire and Environment license renewals and liaison with government and regulatory bodies.

  • Sound understanding of factory compliance, safety, security and disciplinary procedures.

  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/ERP and ability to establish KPIs and SMART job descriptions.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication and people-management skills.   

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software; fluency in Bangla and English.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a large workforce.



Responsibilities & Context:

•      Hire manpower for various positions on lighter vessels.

•      Hire manpower for various positions in the factory.

•      Maintain all employees’ and workers’ personal files.

•      Ensure SMART job descriptions and KPIs for all factory positions.

•      Manage the overall factory operation efficiently.

•      Perform day-to-day administrative and HR activities.

•      Ensure factory safety and security with the utmost professionalism.

•      Drive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) by establishing KPIs.

•      Develop strategic policies and procedures for admin and HR issues, and resolve employee grievances and workplace stress proactively.

•      Liaise with Auditors, the Fire & Civil Defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, local stakeholders, Labor Federation, etc.

•      Communicate with government bodies to renew various licenses (Factory License, Jetty License, Fire License, Environment License, etc.).

•      Implement strategic organizational change to increase productivity and employee satisfaction.

•      Manage all HR operations and delivery systems — sourcing, compensation, training, employee relations, HRMIS, talent management, performance management, individual and team development, manpower planning, etc.

•      Carry out any other tasks assigned by management from time to time.
